Compass Nursing was founded in 2025 by a travel nurse exasperated with a lack of transparency from previous agencies. Between seemingly random rate changes, coworkers with substantially higher rates at the same agency, and bait and switch positions, she had enough. With a vision of providing equitable wages by keeping overhead costs low, and the goal of helping nurses find meaningful placements, Compass Nursing was born.
